Medium-Voltage Substation Design Documentation

Remote

Posted 2 days ago

I need a complete electrical design package for a medium-voltage (1 kV – 35 kV) power distribution substation. The scope covers every major bay: the incoming and outgoing feeder panels, the power transformer with its full protection scheme, plus the DC battery, charger, and associated control system.

Key drawings and calculations are required:
• Single Line Diagrams, general arrangement layouts, and detailed control schematics with clear control logic.
• Load, cable, CT/PT, and battery sizing calculations that can be traced back to the relevant standards.
• A consolidated master Bill of Materials and a vendor technical evaluation sheet comparing primary equipment options.

All drafting must be produced in AutoCAD and issued both in original DWG and flattened PDF via Adobe Acrobat. Calculations, tabulations, and the technical evaluation are to be prepared in MS Excel/Word and delivered in their native formats as well as PDF.

Acceptance criteria:
• Drawings are layered, referenced, and dimensioned consistently, ready for IFC release.
• Calculations show step-by-step methodology, clearly cite assumptions, and allow me to change input values without breaking formulas.
• BOM quantities reconcile with the drawings, and every catalogue number is verifiable against the vendor data included in the evaluation sheet.
• Final package passes an internal Q/A check for completeness (no missing tags, title blocks, or revision history).

Please indicate your estimated turnaround time and any clarifying questions when you respond so we can lock in the schedule quickly.
